Great Season for the Lugnuts!

Yep, that is our boy over there on the left. AJ is seven years old now and is growing up too fast!

As I mentioned in my last post, AJ played baseball in the Encinitas National Little League and his team name was the Lugnuts. They just had their last game of the season yesterday. We are so proud of AJ and the how he played this year. He got some great hits off of the pitching machine and made some awesome plays in the field, including a great play from the second base position in the final game that got the runner out at first.

He had so much fun this year and made some great friends. The best part was that he got to play with his best friend, Andrew, who lives across the street from us. They had a blast this year.

We finally have some great pictures to share with you. We hope you enjoy getting a little slice of the Lugnuts season.

Still Alive...

Holy monkey...I can't believe that it is already May. Where has the time gone?
Yes, I am still here...still around...and I have a tremendous amount of ideas for different posts to put up here. I just never seem to find the time to sit down and write.
Life is good and very busy...
We are heading towards the end of baseball/softball season for the kids. Emily is playing softball in the 10 and under division in the San Dieguito Youth Softball league. She is doing well in her second year and her team is called the Royal Rockerz. Ally is playing in the same league in a T-ball division. This is her first year and she loves it! Her team is the Purple Puppies. AJ is playing Little League baseball in the Rookie Division of the Encinitas National league. He is getting better all the time and is on a team with his best friend, Andrew. Their team is the Lugnuts, named after a minor league team that plays in Lansing, Michigan.

So, pictures will get posted eventually...
Speaking of pictures, I did get a bunch loaded recently. They are from January, but they are fun to check out anyway. Emily celebrated her 9th birthday this year with a trip to Disneyland with Paula. Check those pics out...
Also, Paula and her mom took the kids out on a whale watching trip just off the coast of San Diego with the Scripps Institution of Oceanography and the Birch Aquarium. We have a ton of pictures from that trip. Well, maybe not a ton, but check them out anyway...

We hope all is well with everyone out there. Drop us a line and let us know how you are doing.
